Dr. Angela Scott

Dr. Angela A. Scott is the Co-Founder at Growing Human Capital with a S.M.I.L.E., LLC. Dr. Scott is the author of Journaling with a S.M.I.L.E., a guided journal that helps individuals with self-awareness and supports building healthier relationships with themselves and others. At Growing Human Capital, she oversees the team building and leadership workshops; diversity, equity & inclusion awareness trainings; leadership/executive coaching; and professional development coaching that generates genuine dialogue that helps people operate transparently, both professional and personal. Dr. Scott collaborates with Executive Directors, Managers, Supervisors, CEOs, School Leaders, Government Leaders, and Entrepreneurs to help elevate their organization, increase optimal team performance with measurable results, develop leadership skills and build morale among all employees.

During her years of earning her Bachelor of Science Degree in Mathematics, Master of Science Degree in Business, and Doctoral Degree in Education Organizational Leadership, she bridged her education knowledge with her corporate, nonprofit, and military experiences to birth her passion for helping people grow. In addition, Dr. Scott has been certified as a John Maxwell Team trainer/consultant.

With over 25 years of teaching and training experience, Dr. Scott has worked with reputable government agencies, school districts, and small businesses, helping their leaders build positive relationships through diversity, equity, inclusion, and team-building programs. She coaches people to have the awareness to learn from and relate respectfully with people of their own culture and those from other cultures to create unified working environments.
