Karen Willis-Barrett have been married to Eric Barrett have been married 27 years. Karen has taught for Hillsborough County Public Schools for 25 years and Eric has worked for the City of Tampa for 7 years. They have 3 dynamic children.
 
In today’s society, it is extremely challenging to raise children who know and understand their value and voice. This is due to the constant negative messages being received through the media, schools, and society as a whole. The strength of any community is the fertile ground of its young people. It seems as if our communities have been under attack, where teaching self-love and self-awareness seems to be under constant battle.
