Do you miss witnessing the ART OF LEADERSHIP?
Be gentle, kind, humble, meek, and PATIENT! I value Colossians 3:12. It reminds us to appreciate life and dress each day with compassion, kindness, humility, quiet strength, and discipline our minds to practice self-awareness and self-love. Each day wearing this wardrobe will drape us to love life.
As I am missing the ART OF LEADERSHIP, I am reflecting on how much I love my understanding of the ART of teaching gave me the ability to create a beautiful orchestration in my classroom with students' minds subtly waking up to the expectancy of learning the truth in my classroom each day with unique activities and engaging the mind.
Then, I thought about the ART of writing which allows us to discover what we truly believe. As I reflect, I think about the ART of learning because it develops our minds to reach high levels and improve our skills.
Now, the ART OF LEADERSHIP is inspiring people to act toward achieving a common goal. April and May allowed me to see leadership through a different professional and personal lens. No matter the lens we look through, the ART OF LEADERSHIP is about mastering five skills.
Leadership is an attribute that will always be fascinating and admired, especially when we witness it done for people's good. My most respected leader is Jesus because he is willing to help others, has a clear mission, and has consistent character. He knew to have a capable team that was gifted to support the change he wanted to accomplish.
As you are leading professionally and personally this month, do you have a S.M.I.L.E.? The ART OF LEADERSHIP is about practicing servant leadership, modeling the behavior that we expect of others, inspiring the people to grow internally and externally, listening with the intent to help, and engaging on purpose to create an inclusive environment.
I miss leaders building a culture that is inclusive of All people. Or was that an illusion in my mind when I was younger?
